Storm Seeker

When Storm Seeker invite you to become part of their crew for an evening, only deaf ears can resist the captain's call. Surrounded by the sounds of hurdy-gurdies and flutes, the band is not only able to tell of the dangers and longings of seafaring. They spread the kind of exuberant celebration that only those who have to reckon with not returning from their adventures on the high seas can. When Storm Seeker take to the stage, there are no compromises: Either you withstand the current or you are mercilessly swept away.

In March 2024, Storm Seeker stormed ahead into their first own headlining tour, which was to be a complete success. But settle for that? Never! After a night of drinking and recruiting Sean Graham as their new mighty main vocalist, he joined Storm Seeker for the SET THE SAILS tour in autumn 2025.

"Anyone looking for anthemic choruses, swaying rhythms and a good dose of seafaring romance will find what they're looking for here." – Metal Hammer

Like every band story, the legend of Storm Seeker begins in a stuffy, dark basement: in 2013, a crew that would later become Storm Seeker formed near the almost forgotten harbour basin of the former Hanseatic city of Neuss. After three years of drifting on shallow waters, coming together and drifting apart, the EP Pirate Scum, released in 2016, hit like a cannonball.

Accordingly, it didn't take long for the first big voyage across the vast seas of live performances. And Storm Seeker didn't just stay in domestic waters, playing over 50 gigs! In addition to their legendary appearances at the Dong Open Air and the MetalDays in Slovenia, they were able to gain their first experience in foreign climes with gigs in Switzerland and Italy.

However, the storm that the five-piece crew is seeking by name was to be a blessing. The debut album Beneath in the Cold was released in May 2019 and attracted the hoped-for response: starting with a revue at the Dong Open Air, Storm Seeker travelled from port to port in the summer of 2019 – and even after the festival season, the foray didn't cease. In spring 2020, Storm Seeker signed with NoCut Entertainment and celebrated this triumph with several support acts for Mono Inc.

And even if the seas seemed particularly stormy in 2020, making it impossible to dock in familiar harbours, Storm Seeker were not shipwrecked and found a way to navigate the uncharted waters. And after all, as well as taking part in the online music festival – the first of its kind – and increasing their YouTube presence, the crew was able to their next venture in the form of the successful second album Guns Don't Cry (2021).

The seven seas could tremble again, because while Storm Seeker took to the festival stages of the Wacken Open Air and the Rockharz Festival in 2022, the third studio album Nautic Force 2023 finally conquered the Summer Breeze Open Air, among others. In the same year, they also toured throughout Germany in support of the Mono Inc. tour Ravenblack.

In March 2024, Storm Seeker charged ahead into their first headlining tour, which was to be a complete success. But settle for that? Never! In autum 2024 Storm Seeker were able to win Sean Graham as their new powerful front voice. With many new songs they played their second clubtour in autum 2025 and are now off to new adventures!
